Our Check In With Your Mate suicide prevention campaign hit the big screens at Headingley Stadium in Leeds as part of events to mark World Suicide Prevention Day.
Bosses at Yorkshire County Cricket arranged to showcase our campaign - which aims to normalise conversations around mental health and suicide, particularly among men - at the England vs Ireland game on September 20th.
The match was sadly abandoned at the end of the day, due to rain, but not before the campaign's graphics had been beamed to an estimated 9,000 fans on the giant screens around the stadium and the campaign's messages featured in the tannoy announcements.
The promotion was made possible thanks to funding from Bradford Council's public health team and follows similar support from sports clubs including Keighley Cougars, Bradford City AFC, Bradford Bulls and also Leeds Rhinos Foundation, coinciding with World Suicide Prevention Day, on September 10th.
Visit our Check In With Your Mate resources page for graphics and posters to help spread the word.
