Do you work in the voluntary and community sector in Leeds and are interested in suicide prevention?
West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership’s Suicide Prevention Programme is looking for a new representative from the VCS sector in Leeds to join the Suicide Prevention Oversight Group and be part of the decision-making and accountability processes of suicide prevention work across West Yorkshire.
The commitment would be six meetings per year and engagement in-between.
The next meeting is on February 15 at 2pm – it would be great to get someone in post by then but we appreciate that many might not be able to make that so don’t to let that put you off applying.
Anyone interested should send a very brief email, by the end of January, to Joanna.wardill@nhs.net outlining:
- Why you are interested in the post;
- Job role and organisation
- Suicide prevention work currently undertaken.
The Suicide Prevention Programme’s Senior Responsible Officers (SROs) will then aim to assess applicants and make decision w/c February 6.
If you want to discuss, please get in touch with Jess Parker by email.
