The Recovery and Wellbeing College is supporting the Speak Their Name Memorial Quilt Project.
This project has been founded by people with a lived experience of bereavement by suicide and supports others bereaved in the same way and was inspired by a similar project in Manchester: https://youtu.be/9eNCSZ-9kzs
The project aims to promote emotional resilience, connection and hope to people bereaved by suicide.
Participants can find out more and book onto an online introductory session here: Speak their Name on Monday 4 April 10.30-11.30am
Two further in-person sessions will take place on Monday 25 April in Mirfield and Thursday 28 April in Halifax 1.00-3.00pm
Once completed, the final quilt will be displayed in Yorkshire on 10 September 2022, International World Suicide Prevention Day.
