Suicide Bereavement UK is currently conducting a study in collaboration with Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) to gain a deeper understanding of the needs of relatives, friends and colleagues of Armed Forces personnel, who have been bereaved by suicide.

The study, which is running from April 1st 2022 to March 31st 2023 will lead to an evidence-based suicide bereavement pack to help support those bereaved by Armed Forces suicide, which also aims to empower those who support the bereaved.

As part of the study, researchers have been interviewing people bereaved by Armed Forces suicide but they are now trying to identify serving or veteran Armed Forces personnel who have lost a serving or veteran friend, colleague or family member to suicide in the past 10 years.

More information about the study is available here.
