Social Finance is carrying out a research project on behalf of the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit (WYVRU) to understand how social media, violence and emotional harm could be connected. This research focuses on the experiences of young people up to the age of 25.
The research aims to understand how social media may; contribute to violence impacting young people, have damaging effects on the mental health of young people, and put young people at risk of online harm.
The researchers would like to speak to young people, parents and carers, or professionals working with young people to understand the issues from different perspectives.
