The National Suicide Prevention Alliance has scheduled a number of online discussions for its members working in different sectors and profession to talk about next steps for suicide prevention. National Suicide Prevention Alliance logo.png

The online discussions follow the publication of the new National Suicide Prevention Strategy last month and will ask members what is needed to deliver on the areas for action. 

Upcoming dates and links are: 

– 5th October, 2pm – 3pm – Local authority public health teams: those with responsibility for local suicide prevention

– 9 October, 11am – 12pm  – Healthcare services/ professionals: those working on the frontline in the NHS, social care, privately or any service setting

– 19 October, 1pm – 2pm – Research: those working in academia or other settings, involved in suicide prevention research

– 9 November, 1.30pm – 2.30pm – Open session: for anyone committed to playing their part in reducing suicides

NB, capacity for these discussions is limited.
