A national gambling charity is looking for an outreach and engagement officer to work across Leeds to help reduce the impact gambling can have on individuals and families.
The job, with GamCare, aims to make a difference by raising awareness of gambling-related harms with community groups in Leeds, to help build confidence in talking openly about gambling and the support that the charity offers.
It is one of the key priorities of Leeds Community Gambling service to reach out to individuals, families and communities to make it easier to talk about gambling and gambling-related harms.
The role will involve organising and delivering public-facing events, helping to create and deliver training to professionals and providing advice to those affected by gambling harms.
It is a full-time post based in the Leeds office, but with flexibility to work from home when the role allows.
Closing date for applications is Wednesday July 6.
