Mental health charity Mind in Bradford will be hosting a pop-up stall in the city as part of its work to support World Suicide Prevention Day 2022.mindinbradfordp.png

Volunteers will be on hand at The Broadway shopping centre on the day itself, Saturday September 10th, from 10am to 2pm to raise awareness of the charity’s services and how people can help to prevent suicide.

The charity will also host a pop-up stall at a suicide awareness event, organised by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, which takes place at the Kala Sangam Arts Centre in Bradford on September 12th, featuring key speakers with personal experience of suicide as well as information stalls.

World Suicide Prevention Day provides the opportunity for people across the globe to raise awareness of suicide and suicide prevention.

Mind in Bradford have launched a dedicated webpage to mark the annual awareness day, which encourages people to take action including looking after themselves, looking after others and making a donation to support the charity’s services.

Free social media assets are also on the webpage, for people to use to help promote the day.

Supporters are also encouraged to take on the charity’s fundraising challenge of 600 Mile September – which asks friends, family or colleagues to gather a team and complete 600 miles during September all in aid of supporting mental health across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.
