The positions are two ‘West Yorkshire Children and Young People’s Project Managers’ to work within the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership's Programme – with a deadline of August 16.

One of the roles involves supporting managers to deliver on priorities including improvements to crisis support, care and treatment of those with an eating disorder, transition from adolescence to adulthood and young people with neurodivergent needs.

The second post involves delivering improvements to the quality of care that children and young people with mental health needs receive in a paediatric setting.

The project managers will be employed by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and form part of the West Yorkshire-wide Programme team, with the job advert stating they will be “at the forefront of designing improvements” to meet the expectations of children and young people who, it says, have said they want to be listened to, involved in planning their care, have choices and be treated with dignity and respect.

Both roles are full-time and fixed term for 12 months.
