Dates set for our 2023 West Yorkshire Suicide Prevention Advisory Network (SPAN) meetings

Dates have been finalised for this year’s Suicide Prevention Advisory Network (SPAN) meetings which aim to spark more action in suicide prevention in West Yorkshire.

The quarterly meetings, organised and hosted by the WY HCP’s Suicide Prevention Programme, involve around three guest speakers at each, sharing their work and experience in suicide prevention.

The meetings are held virtually, on Teams, as drop-in, informal learning meetings and agendas will be announced for each in due course.

Dates for this year are:

• Monday March 27^th 9am to 12pm
• Tuesday June 6^th 9am to 12pm
• Monday September 11^th 1pm to 4pm
• Tuesday November 28^th 1pm to 4pm

All members of our SPAN network have received invites to these already and anyone who would like to join the network – to receive the invites and forthcoming agendas, as well as a monthly newsletter – can email Jo on Joanna.wardill@nhs.net.
