Sikh Forgiveness is collaborating with Sehhat to investigate how to tackle the need for better support relating to suicide within the community.

Participants, who must reside in the UK and identify as Punjabi, are asked to fill in an anonymous three-minute survey which aims to raise awareness and collect data on how the Punjabi community is impacted by suicide.

The key aims of the impacts of this research are to:

  1. Find and build better resources to cater for the community
  2. Provide support to those impacted by suicide
  3. Equip individuals with tools to support themselves and encourage seeking of support.

Data from the survey will be analysed alongside interviews and group sessions, accompanied by a review of existing work on the subject and written up in an accessible research report.
